The Alcott Approach to creating a
WELL–DESIGNED HOME

INQUIRE & DEFINE

At the outset, we inquire about the client’s lifestyle and learn as much as we can about the existing home – or the home they want to build. From there the project starts to take on definition and early design decisions are made – often in collaboration with an architect – that impact how the home will “live and work” for the residents going forward.

REFINE & PRESENT

Next we refine all of the information the client has brought to the table which in turn informs the beginning of our inspiration gathering and design process. Architecture, custom details, furnishings, fabrics, and finishes are carefully considered during this creative immersion and are then presented to the client. Afterwards, a second phase of refinement usually follows based upon their input.

EXECUTE & REVEAL

We then collaborate with our extensive group of suppliers and crafts people to bring the home to life. While we love every step of the design process, the ultimate reward for the Alcott team is the installation and final reveal with the homeowner.
